The Investigators in the Pathogenesis of Infectious Disease program provides opportunities for assistant professors to bring multidisciplinary approaches to the study of human infectious diseases. We provide around-the-clock inpatient care, including three general infectious disease consultation services as well as dedicated solid organ transplant, bone marrow transplant, bone and joint infections and neuroinfections. Except as otherwise provided in this section, a case having hepatitis A and any contact residing in the same household as a case having hepatitis A shall not work in a sensitive occupation.
